Guitarist, composer, producer, and arranger Chieli Minucci longtime leader of the Grammy-nominated jazz-fusion group Special EFX featuring Chieli Minucci, is a major force on the jazz and world music scene for 40 years. Mr. Minucci brings a powerhouse band with him to the King Center in Melbourne, on June 1^st, coinciding with BMG Concerts’ 31^st Anniversary. Featured with Chieli Minucci is Eric Marienthal (Chick Correa, Dave Weckle) on sax, Brian Bromberg (Dave Grusin, Billy Cobham, Michael Bublé) on bass, Jay Rowe (Dave Koz, Russ Freeman, Wayman Tisdale) and Joel Rosenblatt (Bill Evans, Foben Ford, Larry Carlton). Jazz-Fusion at it’s best!

Studio Theatre Venue Information

This event is in the STUDIO THEATRE. From the King Center parking lot, continue past the Main Theatre doors and the Ticket Office, go left around the corner of the building. The Studio Theatre is straight ahead through the glass doors. Signs are overhead to direct you.
