Eric Gales

Eric Gales’ time is now. Hailed by guitar legends including Joe Bonamassa, Dave Navarro and Mark Tremonti as one of the greatest guitarists on the planet, the Memphis-born blues-rock powerhouse has spent decades carving out a sound that defies convention. From his Grammy-nominated solo catalogue to his work on the soundtrack of Ryan Coogler’s acclaimed film Sinners, Gales continues to push the boundaries of blues and rock with his electrifying guitar style.

His latest release, Tribute To LJK, is both a bold statement of where he is today and a deeply personal tribute to his late brother, Little Jimmy King. Co-produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, the album features Gales putting his own powerful spin on nine of his brother’s original songs, with appearances from legends including Buddy Guy and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. Drawing from the musical roots of his Memphis upbringing and a lifetime spent redefining what blues-rock can sound like, Gales delivers a thrilling tribute to his family legacy while proving why he remains one of the genre’s most compelling guitarists.
