Acoustic Alchemy in the Studio Theatre

Presented by Brevard Music Group

Tickets starting at $46 (inclusive of ticketing fees)
For nearly 25 years, Acoustic Alchemy has pushed the limits of the acoustic guitar’s potential by embracing a spectrum of musical styles ranging from straight-ahead jazz to folk to rock to world music and beyond. In the two and a half decades since their earliest recordings – despite a tragic setback in the late 1990s and the inherent challenges of the 21st century music industry – the group has assembled and sustained a vast and loyal following that stretches well beyond their U.K. origins. Through it all, the overriding mission of Acoustic Alchemy has been to reach the broadest possible audience by pushing the potential of instrumental music to embrace a broad spectrum of styles without being limited to any specific genre. Don’t miss your chance to see them in the intimate setting of the King Center Studio Theatre. Their sense of passion and excitement thrills their audiences at each and every concert! We regret to inform you that Greg Carmichael will be unable to perform with Acoustic Alchemy on April 26th due to a family emergency. The band, not wishing to let their fans down, have engaged the brilliant nylon string player, Steve Oliver, who has kindly agreed to play Greg's parts until he feels able to resume.

Oliver is a dynamic guitarist and vocalist who burst onto the contemporary jazz scene with a sound so fresh that he immediately became a favorite on radio stations. He is a man of many incredible talents creating an amazing array of sounds with his guitar, guitar synth and voice. Oliver has also scored numerous airplay hits and nominations for Best New Artist and Best Guitar Player, both in the US and Canada. Tickets are still available for this amazing concert!
