Join us in the intimate setting of the King Center’s Studio Theatre for an evening of music with three great jazz favorites, Jeff Lorber, Chuck Loeb and Everette Harp.   Keyboardist/composer/producer Jeff Lorber is heralded as “one of the founding fathers of fusion.” With a unique instrumental sound bringing together elements of funk, R&B, rock and electric jazz, Lorber helped pioneer the music genre now formatted under such names as NAC and smooth jazz. Grammy nominated guitarist, composer and producer, Chuck Loeb, has had a musical career that spans over four decades and is a #1 jazz recording artist.  He is also a member of one of the world’s premier jazz groups, Fourplay and the ground breaking fusion band Metro. With the 2013 release of his latest CD,  Silhouette, Loeb has attained the much sought after position as one of the most in demand artists in the world, as well as one with his own recognizable sound. Everette Harp is an American blues, jazz saxophonist who is known for combining dynamic funk edges and urban textures along with modern day contemporary jazz and the classic soul he grew up with. He has played in major R&B bands, including those of Anita Baker, Sheena Easton, and Kenny Loggins  and has toured with such greats as Chaka Khan, George Duke, Chante Moore, John Tesh and Dianne Reeves before embarking on his solo career. This concert also features bassist and co-producer Jimmy Haslip.
