5. Who selects the shows that are booked into the Center?
  • The Executive Director of the King Center.
  • Block bookings are done with other halls in the State of Florida.
  • Audience surveys are conducted to provide input in the decision process.


6. Who owns the center?
  • Brevard Community College owns the Center and it is operated by the King Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. Board of Directors, a Nonprofit Organization. The King Center for the Performing Arts is a Direct Support Organization of Brevard Community College.


7. Is the Center open to the public every day?
  • On non-event days, the Center is closed. Scheduled tours are conducted, free of charge to the public. For information on tour schedules, please call 321.634.3705.


8. What are the ticket office hours?
  • Summer hours: 10am-2pm M-F (closed Saturday)
  • Starting after Labor Day: In Season hours: 10am-6pm M-F, 10am-2pm Saturday
  • Also open 2 hours prior to performances in the Main Theatre and 1 hour prior to performances in the Studio Theatre. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted. The ticket office phone number is 321-242-2219.


9. Where may I purchase tickets after hours?

10. When do individual tickets go on sale?
  • Click on the show you are interested in on the website for on sale dates or contact the King Center ticket office at 321.242.2219.


11. May I choose the exact seat location?
  • Yes, if it is available. When purchasing tickets at the ticket office window and over the telephone, you will be informed of your exact seat location. You will always receive the best possible seat available when you purchase your tickets.


12. May I order tickets over the telephone?
  • Yes, by calling the ticket office at 321.242.2219. You may purchase tickets using your Visa or MasterCard. Ticket reservations may also be secured over the telephone and paid for when you pick up your tickets within 7 days of making the reservation.


13. How do I get on the mailing list?
  • Pick up a "Get on the List" card at the King Center ticket office or call 321.242.2219 to get on the mailing list. You may also "Join the Mailing List" under the Information page on our website.


14. Do you offer group sales tickets?
  • Group sales of 20 or more enjoy special benefits. Call 321.433.5824 for more information and reservations.


15. Are gift certificates available?
  • Yes, at the ticket office window or over the phone. Tell the ticket office representative the amount you would like to purchase.


16. Does the King Center charge for parking?
  • No, parking is free.
  • Reserved parking is available for a minimal charge on select shows.


17. Is the facility accessible for the physically challenged?
  • Wheelchair locations are available on the orchestra level.
  • Disabled parking spaces are located in the parking lot closest to the front of the Center.
  • Hearing devices are available at the Lobby Reception Desk.
  • Please notify the Ticket Office in advance of any special physical limitations.
  • Large print programs are available at the lobby desk.

21. When is the art gallery open?
