The King Center is a $12.3 million, 6-story, 100,000-square-foot facility dedicated to educational, cultural and community events. The King Center features an acoustically live, 2,016-seat main theatre; an intimate 288-seat Studio Theatre; a Crown Club VIP room where Crown Club members enjoy special benefits; a Harris Corporation-sponsored art gallery featuring monthly exhibits located in the King Center lobby; and a spacious rotunda available for receptions, weddings, corporate functions and other special events.

Normal ticket office hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; noon to 4 p.m. Saturday; closed Sunday (unless there is a show). From May through Labor Day, Summer Hours are in effect: noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday; closed Saturday and Sunday (unless there is a show). The ticket office is also open two hours prior to all performances in the main theatre and one hour prior to all performances in the Studio Theatre.

You may choose your exact seat location by visiting kingcenter.com, calling the ticket office at 321-242-2219 or visiting the ticket office in person. When you purchase tickets, you will always receive the best seats available.

You may order tickets over the phone by calling 321-242-2219 during the ticket office hours of operation. The King Center accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards for phone purchases. Ticket reservations may also be secured over the phone and paid for within 7 days of making the reservation.

The King Center ticket office and www.kingcenter.com are the only official ticket outlets for King Center presented events. Do not be fooled by imitators and do not pay more than you have to for tickets. Protect yourself from scams and scalpers.

As a not-for-profit organization, the King Center relies on ticketing fees to help cover increasing operating expenses, such as credit card fees, ticket printing fees and event staffing. The fees also cover various costs to operate our state-of-the-art web site, which allows you the convenience of picking your own seats, paying for your order and printing your tickets in the comfort of your home or office 24 hours a day.

For some family oriented shows, a child younger than one year old may be permitted into the theatre without a ticket, if the child will be sitting on a parent or guardian’s lap. For other shows, ALL children, including infants, must have a ticket to enter the theatre. If you are planning to bring your child to the King Center and would like to know if he or she will need a ticket, please call the ticket office at 321-242-2219 to speak to a King Center representative. This policy is subject to change without notice pending artist contractual requirements.

Ample free parking is available. Reserved parking close to the theatre is available for Main Stage performances; $8 in advance or $10 on the day of the performance.

The King Center respects the privacy and confidentiality of its customers and supporters. We do not rent, sell, trade or exchange our mailing lists or databases. The Executive Director, at his discretion, may occasionally provide certain limited information such as email address or mailing address to artist management upon request or per artist contract. The Executive Director also reserves the right to use patron email address to promote events that he feels would be of interest to our patrons and supporters. When purchasing tickets, your name, address and phone number are required so that you can be contacted about your order, or if an event is cancelled or postponed. Your name and address are added to the theatre’s mailing list to ensure that you are notified of future performances and events and other pertinent information about the theatre.

The King Center membership program provides several different levels of membership support for the King Center. Please visit the "Become a Member" section of kingcenter.com for detailed information.

The Crown Club is the King Center's exclusive VIP membership program. Crown Club members pay an annual fee and receive special benefits, including advanced ticket purchases. The King Center strives to make the theatre experience enjoyable and comfortable for all guests. When purchasing your tickets, please notify the Ticket Office of any accessibility requirements you may have. The King Center offers a variety of accessibility services: Parking, Ramp, Wheelchair, Assistive Listening Devices, Sign Language Interpretation, Low Vision Accessibility and Large Print Programs.

Wheelchair accessible parking spaces are located in the parking lot closest to the front of the theatre. Ramp access is marked. Wheelchair accessible seating is located on the orchestra level. Wheelchair assistance is available at the guest services/information desk in the lobby (notify any usher for assistance). If you wish to transfer from a wheelchair to a theatre seat, you can request to have your wheelchair stored during the performance. Please let guest services know if you will require assistance during intermission. After the event, the staff member will return your wheelchair to your seat. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the ground floor. Elevator access is available to the mezzanine/Crown Club level as well as row PP in the grand tier. Please be advised that the seats in the grand tier are numbered with seat 1 being the furthest away from the elevator and seat 60 being the closest. Low vision accessibility (inquire when purchasing tickets) and assistive listening devices (inquire at the guest services desk) are available upon request. Service animals are permissible. Large Print programs are available (for shows that require a printed program). Guest services representatives are happy to assist patrons.

The King Center concessions are open one hour before most shows. We offer Coca Cola products, bottled water, juice, and coffee. We also offer a full liquor bar, beer and wine. Snacks include hot dogs, chips, pretzels and other assorted items. Some of our shows feature a Picnic on the Patio, where grilled foods are also available for purchase.

The King Center hosts Picnics on the Patio two hours prior to select performances outside of the main theatre. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers and potato chips are available for purchase. Click here for a schedule of upcoming Picnics on the Patio. Beverages in plastic cups are allowed in the theatre for select shows. Please ask a concessions or guest services representative before entering the theatre with your drink.

King Center personnel have been thoroughly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of all patrons.

Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts General Contest Rules
(Contest rules current as of January 30, 2014)

These are the General Contest Rules for the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, Inc.'s Facebook, Twitter and other online contests or promotions. The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (The King Center) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and is a Direct Support Organization of Eastern Florida State College (the College) under section 1004.70, Florida Statutes.

These rules cover the routine social media contests and promotions conducted by the King Center, and may be superseded by any specific rules for major King Center contests and promotions. Contest rules may be periodically updated and changed without notice.

PROMOTION PERIOD
The contest or promotion will take place during the dates and times specified (the Promotion Period) on Facebook or Twitter. The King Center reserves the right to change the Promotion Period without notice. Any changes will be posted on the applicable social network and on this web site (www.kingcenter.com) if deemed necessary.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to participate in King Center contests and promotions, King Center Facebook fans and/or Twitter followers must follow the rules of the contest or promotion as set forth on Facebook or Twitter. Entrants must be legal U.S. residents and at least 18 years of age. College employees working for the King Center as well as their immediate family members (children, spouse) are not eligible to enter.

ENTRIES
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Each entrant may submit only one entry per day. Entrants must provide truthful information and the King Center reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is false or fraudulent. Any entrant that does not meet the Eligibility requirements may have his or her entry deleted from King Center social media.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Winners of King Center contests and promotions will be notified publicly on social media during the Promotion Period as set forth by the specific contest rules. Winners will be instructed to contact the King Center via email to claim the prizes within 24 hours of the end of the Promotion Period. Should a Winner fail to claim his or her prize within 24 hours, the King Center will select the next eligible entrant as the Winner. The King Center also reserves the right to not select an alternate Winner, in which case the prize will become property of the King Center.

PRIZES
Contest prizes and their values will be indicated to the Winners of the specific contests or promotions. The Winner is responsible for all taxes (Federal, State and Local) on the fair market value of the prize (i.e. tickets) issued. Winners of performance ticket prizes are required to establish official King Center ticketing accounts with the King Center in order to claim prizes. Unless otherwise stated in the rules of the specific contest or promotion, all prizes must be picked up by the winners at the King Center, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32935, during the King Center's normal business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday). Contest Winners will be required to show a valid photo ID to claim prizes. King Center performance ticket prizes are transferable.

Performance ticket prizes may be revoked and Winners may be prohibited from participating in all future King Center contests and promotions if Winners are found to be in violation of Florida Stature 817.36 regarding the resale of tickets.

King Center contests and promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Twitter. Entrants provide information to the King Center and not Facebook or Twitter. Entrants release Facebook and Twitter from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind related to King Center contests and promotions.
