GEORGE JONES
There is no doubt that George Jones helped set the standard for modern country music. It's impossible to overstate Jones’ impact as one of the architects of the country music sound. He began producing hits in 1959 with the rockabilly chart-topper "White Lighting" and the hits kept coming with songs such as “Tender Years,” “She Thinks I Still Care” and “Walk Through This World With Me.” With an already impressive 30 year career behind him, Jones went on to record one of the all-time great country records, "He Stopped Loving Her Today" in 1980. Join us as we welcome one of the top male singers in country music to the King Center stage.
